Joe tells us all about the Surrey Countryside Estate

Members welcomed Joseph Ballantine AfCGI, MIoL from Surrey County Council to talk about all the projects and volunteering opportunities across the county.

Seeing so much available for free, accessible spaces, woodlands, parks, paths, tracks and routes all specifically adjusted to accommodate all abilities.

Members raised great points about maps, visual route markers with colours, images and words together, everyone saw colours very differently!!

We now have a tree planting challenge and 18 new outdoor locations to feedback on - we are going to have a busy Summer! Matthew Leadbeater spoke to Joe about partnership opportunities for fundraising.
