Congratulations and thank you to Leanne

Amanda Aldridge from Surrey County Council brought a thank you certificate to Pro-Active Community Chair for 2024, Leanne Yeo, to congratulate her for many years of being Co-chair at the East Surrey Valuing People Group.

Ensuring everyone had a voice at the meetings was very important to Leanne,

“I liked doing these meetings with Amanda, I had the chance to tell them about prescriptions, and busses and local issues for me in Surrey. I know they listened and I went to a leisure centre to check out the signs.”

The Valuing People Group has paused for now as so many other focused forums have successfully taken their lead from it.
