CancerLearn starts the next phase
A very interactive co-design session took place as part of the CancerLearn Project focusing on understanding inequalities in cancer diagnostic outcomes for people with learning disabilities.
Anna Cox and Hannah Drysdale joined Pro-Active Community Chair Michael, member Emma Jane and Elizabeth, who is supported by Active Prospects UK in a very energised discussion on relevant documentation.
Finding the balance between what is deemed necessary, and what is actually needed is never easy with very wordy participation forms.
Everyone agreed there has to be a lot less wording than standard forms, visuals really help with understanding, words need to be uncomplicated, straight forward and no jargon or acronyms.
