Pro-Active Community awarded £5k grant

The Pro-Active Community is delighted to have been awarded a grant of £5,000 from the Community Foundation for Surrey.

The Pro-Active Community was founded in 2015 but only became a registered charity in 2020. The grant will provide much needed help to meet its running costs, and continue to support people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and people with mental health needs in Surrey and Sussex.

Matthew Leadbeater, Co-Chair of Pro-Active Community, commented: “It’s difficult for new charities to get funding, so we’re really grateful for this grant which will help us to make a positive impact on the lives of local people with learning disabilities.”
