Student Midwives 2024 hear it from the experts with lived experience

The next ambassadors for change are leaving the first 2024 cohort of student midwives learning disability training at University of Surrey - Scott Watkin BEM Anna Cox Elizabeth and Pro Active Community member Michael, you were all amazing this morning.

Calm break for a few moments and then the afternoon session begins.

The group will head to their Hospital trusts empowered and enabled to lead the way with the Maternity Passport toolkit - The Together Project is truly showing everyone the way with this life changing training.

Congratulations to Michael for sharing so much valuable lived experience to make the changes needed in understanding learning disability with the future staff embarking on their careers.
