It's all about Quality

Quality Checking by member Emma Jane took place at one of Active Prospects UK Surrey houses this week.

Each visit is an opportunity for the people living there, their staff and the checker all reviewing how everything looks and feels, this is home and it is so important it’s everything each individual wants or needs in every way possible.

The check list includes questions such as:-

🏡 does it feel like a welcoming happy home
🧡is it located near places people choose to go for leisure or shopping
🎉Is everyone enjoying their hobbies and interests
📃 are the policies being followed correctly does everyone know how to make a complaint and who to
🧯is safety a high priority and the homely feeling through the whole house
🤝is there a clear mutual trust between all people living and working there
🪴how safe and well kept is the garden
🐈 does anyone who wants one have a pet
❓Are there ways anything might be improved

All Quality Checkers undergo detailed training to provide a balanced and fair observation report.

It is very important for support providers such as Active Prospects UK to have insights and ideas from people living in their supported or residential properties, share anything needing reviewing or improving.

Such a great visit today, Emma Jane has submitted the report and said what a happy, welcoming place it was, and how much she enjoyed meeting everyone there.
